We help local communities make informed choices on clean energy technologies to reduce carbon emissions and harness economies of scale to bring down costs.
And that’s not all. We also build a fund for to spend on social and environmental projects that matter to you.
We engage and collaborate with community organisations because it offers the opportunity to gain rapid insights into the needs and objectives of that community, whilst quickly building trust in new energy initiatives.
In return, we provide a range of materials and services to increase the uptake of green energy technologies for your community, such as:
1
Providing engagement resources, such as pamphlets, flyers etc. on installing green technologies (solar panels, heat pumps, and batteries)
2
Hosting in-person events or webinars focused on educating homeowners and residents about the benefits and impact of green technologies
3
Creating a community-specific incentive programme to install green technologies. The first person to install through Thermly platform gets £1,000 off their installation, the second gets £950, with the discount stepping down in £50 increments until the 11th person, who receives £500
4
Building a Community Impact Fund which your organisation can use to invest in activity to support local social and environmental impact
5
Offer sponsorship to cover refreshments and local venue costs for environmental and climate focused events
Community Impact Fund
For each householder who installs green energy technologies through Thermly, we pay £50 into a local Community Impact Fund, which can be used to further support your community’s aims and objectives on social and environmental issues.
Thermly Collective
Last, but by no means least, we operate an initiative called Thermly Collective – where, if we can bring sufficient householders together at once to install the technology, we will secure reduced costs from our installer network through economies of scale. In this way and by working together, homeowners will get a better deal.
Thermly Limited is an independent company and uses local, independent contractors. Community Energy England is not responsible or liable for the operation of the initiative or for any works carried out. Any questions or issues regarding the initiative should be directed to Thermly Limited at enquiries@thermly.co.uk.
