Thermly and your community

We help local communities make informed choices on clean energy technologies to reduce carbon emissions and harness economies of scale to bring down costs.

And that’s not all. We also build a fund for to spend on social and environmental projects that matter to you.

What we can do with your community

We engage and collaborate with community organisations because it offers the opportunity to gain rapid insights into the needs and objectives of that community, whilst quickly building trust in new energy initiatives.

In return, we provide a range of materials and services to increase the uptake of green energy technologies for your community, such as:

1

Engagement resources (like pamphlets and flyers)

2

Drive scale economies to reduce installation costs

3

A Community Impact Fund to create local social and environmental impact

4

Cover for the cost of local venue hireand funding for refreshments (ideally from local suppliers)

5

Thermly freebies (like tote bags) to encourage engagement and attendance

6

Free webinars and online sessions about the benefits and impact technologies like heat pumps, solar panels and batteries that Thermly can deliver

Community Impact Fund

For each householder who installs green energy technologies through Thermly, we pay £50 into a local Community Impact Fund, which can be used to further support your community’s aims and objectives on social and environmental issues.

Thermly Collective

Last, but by no means least, we operate an initiative called Thermly Collective – where, if we can bring sufficient householders together at once to install the technology, we will secure reduced costs from our installer network through economies of scale. In this way and by working together, homeowners will get a better deal.

I really can't believe how warm it is!

We recently supported Jo in installing a heat pump in her bungalow in Sedgemoor, Somerset. For years Jo had struggled with a cold home, despite investing in various items to warm her home, including an infrared heating panel.

I would encourage everyone to do it for climate change reasons...I think heat pumps are the solution.
